Adobe Flash Automatic Updates

Hi,

There are two types of automatic updates, however, I believe you're referring to the background updates.  Background Updates uses a scheduled task, which launches once per hour, to check if there is an update, and if so, it launches a service to download and install Flash Player.  Everything is completed in the background without user intervention and noticeable impact on running applications.
