Question

Adobe Flash/Cannot load plug-in

Apparently Adobe has released an update that is conflicting with Chrome. I have attempted every conceivable work-around that has been suggested online to no avail. I also spoke to Adobe and they do not support this program beyond this forum.

    Hi leec674166 ,

    Please try the following:

    1. Launch Chrome
    2. navigate to chrome://plugins
    3. click the +Details link in the upper right to display plugin details (if it isn't already selected)
    4. Locate the Adobe Flash Player entry
    5. Obtain the Location path that Chrome is using for the Flash Player plugin
    6. Close Chrome
    7. Launch Windows Explorer, or Finder (you don't say which OS this is) and navigate to the location in step 5
    8. Is the pepflashplayer.dll file listed?
    9. If not, delete the directory the pepflashplayer.dll file is supposed to be in (this will be ~/PepperFlash/VersionNumber)
    10. Launch Chrome and navigate to Flash content
    11. Does Flash content display?

What operating system is this on?

BTW, please don't post the same issue to multiple topics (you also posted at Chrome & Flash Player 23 "Couldn't Load Plugin" error messages; Videos won't play. ) it makes it difficult to assist when folks post to multiple topics as we end up replying to the same person in different places.
