Adobe Flash Installer Crahses

Question

HelloBasic Info First:Macbook 15-inch Touch BarMac OS Sierra 10.12.6Safari won't open with me and Flash can't run on Chrome.My Flash in out of date, I know this.Whenever I try to run an installer, updater, uninstaller or any other of Adobe Flash installers files, it asks for a password to install Adobe Pepper Flash Player new helper tool. I enter my password, press Install Helper, and that's as far as I've ever gotten.The installer hangs and then Stops Responding.I don't know why and I can't fix the problem.Any help?ThanksPenri Mainwaring

Hello all,I've found the solution to the problem.It seems, I have no idea why, but whenever I connected my Macbook to my external monitor via the USB-C to DisplayPort adaptor, things just would not work properly. As soon as I disconnected the cable and used the Macbook as a laptop, everything works just fine. Safari, Adobe installer.It may be the adaptor itself or a even bigger problem with my Macbook, however, if anyone finds a problem like this, try it without an external monitor connected.Thank youPenri Mainwaring

Hi,What issue are you seeing with Safari browser? Did you try following the steps mentioned on Enable Adobe Flash Player for Safari page?Please post a screenshot of the issue you are observing while trying to install Adobe Pepper Flash Player. The password being prompted is your system password.For Chrome browser, Flash Player comes embedded with Chrome and all updates are pushed by Google as part of Chrome updates. If you want to move to latest version of Flash Player for Chrome, try updating your browser.Thanks!
