Adobe Flash Installs with Hidden Software

Question

What is Intel TrueKey? Why did it download with Adobe Flash? I was not prompted about accepting this extra software, and now I am getting pop-ups from TrueKey every hour. THIS IS INFURIATING. How is this allowed to happen? We are in the year 2016. I used to get stupid add-ons like this when I was downloading pirated music in 2009 but NOT THIS. HOW, ADOBE?

If you went to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the installer the option offers are displayed on the page:

If you downloaded the installer from some other site, it's not authorized by Adobe and there's no guarantee on what you'll get.
