Adobe Flash Player 10.0.22.87

Hello I have Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 ( I believe it is) I was reading an article from adobe newsletter stating there is a fix than needs to be installed if you only have 10.0.12.36 and the fix is to download and install the 10.0.22.87,. so I clicked on the link to install it and it said it was successful, the only trouble is, it stated it was still the 10.0.12.36 that was installed not 10.0.22.87
Anyone know whats going on here? Thanks

      Yes Thanks, This happens everytime I download the newer version, but when I went back to the actual installation, it was the Correct upgrade! (go figure?)

      I did experience the same problem.
      My way around was switching of the proxy of the internet browser temporarily.
