Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Not Working

I have spent hours and hours and used a lot of ways trying to solve this issue, but still can't get FP to work .

After I update the Flash Player 10.1, everytime when I restart my computer and I go to a website using flash, the website will ask me to reinstall the FP.

Just like it can't stay in my computer. Once it runs, it works fine.

But when I check this website: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

It said that the Flash Player is running in the browser. And my player version is WIN 10,1,82,76.

In the end, I'm looking to see how to get FP10 to stop trying to reinstall each time I open the computer. Thank you!

SYSTEM INFO:

Win7 64 bit

IE 8 (I'm using the IE 8 32 bit.)

Adobe Flash Player

ESET NOD32 4.2.40.29

I been having the same problem with my FP. I downloaded it to my computer and found it in my add and removed file in the control panel. My problem now is that everytime I open a window that has something with FP attached to it....it comes up as " The Adobe Flash Plugin has crashed " and wants to " Reload It ". At first I was doing that, but I am not having any luck wit it. Anythang that can been done to fix this problem! ( System Running: Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 / Service Pack 3 - Processor: VIA Ezra 902 MHz, 320 MB of RAM. And I think the system is running 32bit.) I'm running Mozilla Firefox. Jus dont understand why it keeps crashing. I also did all the troubleshooting that was listed here at the site.....nothing works and was thinking of going with a later FP to see if that would work.......thankz

Hi unkle_ It will be better if you would start a thread. It will get too confusing since your system and configurations will be very different than Haibara11's. I'm sure you'll understand that even tho each of you or more if someone else posts here on this thread can keep everything straight, I simply cannot:-) I tried that way last year when 4 people were on one thread and what I told one to do, a different person did.

That is the reason I ask each to have their own thread. Oh and when you start yours, please list your version of IE and FF.

Also you can do the test and post those results in your first post on your thread as well. Test Site: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/   I'll need to know if you were able to see the Flash logo animate(move)

    Thanks,

Hi, well that doesn't sound good. I think we may need to check your Flash files to see if they are all correct.

Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash Open Flash and post back all the files listed there.

Then using IE, go to Tools, Manage add ons to Toolbars & Extensions. Look to mid way for "Show" (light text) and click on All add ons. You should find Shockwave Flash Object there, make sure it is Enabled and it should be vs 10.1.82.76.

In the meantime I'll see if NOD32 has any new browser add ons that may conflict.

    Thanks,
