Alright. Adobe 10. whatever. I have it, unfortunately. I have put my problem up on yahoo answers so I will just copy and paste what I wrote.

So When I Use GOOGLE CHROME. I always get this annoying issue with it. I have looked at over forums involving this issue all they suggest is that you delete all the browsing history, cookies. I have done that. I have re-installed google chrome and it still doesn't work. I have attempted to uninstall flash player 10 and reinstall it.

A few more details involving this, yesterday when trying to get a torrent file. I caught a virus. Using Malwarebytes though. I was able to kill the trojan, and move on. Only today have I realized this issue with Google Chrome, I found it out when uploading a youtube video, and it has been a good 2 hours with the same issue.

The youtube video screen will be black. The play options will be there, timeline, play button. The timeline bar will however seem to be a little messed up. To describe it it's when, you have a windows program open. (Blue bar at the top of the window). And your computer is going really slowly so you click and hold down the top of the window and slide that thing around everywhere, pretty soon it's left with just blue bars. Except this isn't that serious of a case. It only leaves about 4 of the same bars smudged together on top of the original bar. AUDIO DOES WORK. When accessing a video, I can hear noises and the timeline play slider, thing will move like it normally should. Just no video.

KEEP IN MIND THIS ALSO HAS THE SAME ISSUE ON MOZILLA FIREFOX.
But When I use Internet Explorer it doesn't.
I'm not quite sure if it involves the virus from yesterday, which did interract with my IE internet browser. So I uninstalled IE. Ran Malwarebytes, etc... Only today did I reinstall IE. But hey look it, Google Chrome and Mozilla don't work now. And those are the two browsers that were on the PC when I killed the virus's. Hmm.
Now that I got IE back on, it's the only one that works.
I could continue to use IE until... I can't watch videos on it, but I would loovveee to have google chrome back to watching videos.
I have not experimented with other video hosting websites but I really don't care Youtube is the one and only video editing website for me.

Keep in mind Idc what you say it, does not involve my 'memory' for only half of hard drive is full.
Plus I re-installed Chrome.
Tell me what you think, give suggestions I really could experiment around some more. But I'm just not going to and play some video games.
Ends up after my game. That when I accessed Internet Explorer again it asked me to download Adobe Flash Player. I was like sure why not, went ahead downloaded the thing. THEN came back to youtube, hey guess what. INTERNET EXPLORER NOW CANT WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS EITHER. I completely blame the Flash Player Plug in. I uninstalled it, then went back to youtube, got the same issue as I have on my other browsers. So I installed it again. I thought, there must be something wrong with this version of flash so I looked on google for another version, ends up Adobe is being a hard ass and not letting you access their older flash player downloads. 😕😕 Wow so what does this mean to a Video Editor and a Machinima Director?
No youtube. thats what.

I just had the same problem start using Firefox, youtube videos were black but heard audio. Internet Explorer 6 would internitantly play the videos. I installed Opera and had the same problem: black video screen but heard sound. I had Adobe Flash Player version 10.2.15.26 released: Feb 9th 2011. I uninstalled that and reinstalled version 10.1.102.64 released: Jan 23rd 2011 (which I had archived on my hard drive), Currently the problem is solved (the problem didn't start until about three weeks after I updated Flash Player). All youtube videos are visable when playing. Adobe's got a bug in the software.

Hi, This is a fairly easy thing to try.

you can go to this site and RIGHT click on the Flash logo (the Red F) Click Settings, then Display Settings. UNcheck the hardware acceleration.

    See if this helps.

    Thanks,

Hope that works for you and solves the problem.
