Adobe Flash Player 18 Doesn't Work w/Firefox

Hi, I recently updated my Flash Player to the version 18, but since then I've been unable or irregularly able to load videos both on Facebook and YouTube. Additional findings are as follows:

- I uninstall Flash Player 18: videos work on Facebook, but not YouTube and elsewhere, also some websites will play the video, but I will be unable to make it go full screen.

- Working on other ideas... will update if more is found.

If you have any suggestions or questions, please feel free to comment. Thanks!

Sorry, no joy to offer. I posted my problem on this forum.

Yesterday the tutorial videos for Edge Reflow on the Adobe site wouldn’t load. I updated my Flash Player in FF, as well as the NPAPI and PPAPI plugins (System Preferences, OS 10.9.5). I reloaded the tutorial page and eventually — very slowly — the controls showed up and the screen showed something other than a black box. I watched 4 of these tutorials last night. Today I tried to watch another for Illustrator and had the same problem that plagued me before updating yesterday.

I had an exchange of posts on the Edge Reflow CC forum with who was very helpful, but this isn’t an Edge Reflow issue, it’s a Flash issue. A recurring nightmare.

So any suggestions on how to fix it? I'm fairly tech savy, but when it comes to programs like flash and "background" programs like that I'm out of my element.
