Adobe Flash Player 22.0.0.192(APSB16-10) upgrade/patch pre-requisites for Symantec Altiris?

Hi Adobe,

Just wonder what's pre-requisites for Adobe set for Computer endpoint in order entitle to patch Adobe Flash Player APSB16-10 (ver 22.0.0.192) with Symantec Altiris?

I received few computer endpoint always received applicable patch to APSB16-10 even endpoint pre-installed with beta flash player.

Example 1:

One of endpoint Windows 7 Pro, 32 bit pre-installed with Adobe Flash 22.0.0.158 beta match pre-requisites upgrade/patch for "APSB16-10".

However, in actual environment, Adobe is not able upgrade/patch to "APSB16-10" unless we manually uninstall Adobe flash 22.0.0.158 beta in endpoint.

Hi,

Release versions will not install over beta versions without first using the uninstaller to uninstall the beta version, and vice versa.

What i did is send a quick uninstall task, then only install/patch APSB16-10.

Just wonder why those installed beta flash endpoint PC is applicable for APSB16-10 in first place.
