I use Windows 8 64 bit, version of flash player is 11.9 It's always crashing ( not responding). I usually end up restarting my browser (firefox). Everything else is up to date.

Download and save the uninstaller by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Link as".

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Download the Shockwave uninstaller by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Link as".

    Shockwave Player Uninstaller

Download the Shockwave FULL Installer by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Link as".

    Shockwave FULL Installer

Save the file(s) to your downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.

    Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, run the UNINSTALLER to remove the Flash Player plugin.

    Next, run the Shockwave uninstaller.

Then, run the Shockwave FULL installer to replace the plugin.

Run the Flash Player installer last to replace the plugin for Firefox.
