Adobe Flash Player Crashing

I am running i-7 5700HQ @2.70ghz, 16 gb ram, 64bit, windows 10, Firefox 44.0. I have had this computer for about 6 mos. From the beginning it has had problems with the Adobe Flash Player crashing. It occasionally works but very rarely; I estimate I am experiencing a 98% or above crash rate. I have updated, erased and reloaded the flash player several times to no avail. Any suggestions? I am wondering if it is operating system problem or flash player problem.
