Adobe Flash Player download problems?

Whilst trying to install Adobe Flash Player for mac, the downloader (on the Adobe Flash Player Installer) keeps on getting stuck on 25%. I have tried to uninstall previous versions of Flash Player but this has not fixed the problem. I am now left with no flash player, please help?!?
