Adobe Flash Player Freezing PC With Black Screen

Hi, after recently downloading an adobe flash player update my desktop pc began to freeze and started showing just a black screen. Several attempts at uninstalling adobe flash player and re installing it have produced the same issue freezing with black screen. Running windows 10 with Firefox browser. Help appreciated, thank you in advance.

    Flash Player is tested extensively across all supported platforms.  The issue you are encountered hasn't been reported, either internally, or by other end-users.  This generally indicates an issue with a specific system.  Please ensure you're system (including video drivers) are up-to-date.  If you continue to experience issues after updating the video drivers, provide a dxdiag report.  See Flash Player video playback issues for assistance.
