Hello,

I started getting a pop-up error message "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation" whenever I visited Hotmail.com, since Adobe Flash Player V. 11.4.402.265.

Today I update to V. 11.4.402.278 and still the same message, I found a solution @

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html

Where I have to click the Global Security Settings option (the little world with the lock on top of it), and add:

Hotmail.com

To that "Always trust files in these locations" box. Then check the "Always allow" option.

.
The problem is I am running sandboxed so when I click on "Settings" Nothing happens.

I have install the Adobe Master Collection CS6 as Trial Version

Is Adobe Flash Professional CS6 or Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 what is causing this message?

Or

Is the latest or previous Adobe Flash Player version, which is causing this msg?

If I uninstall Adobe Master Collection CS6 the msg will not show again?

I do not want to browse Unsandboxed

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me

Correct answer candylovergirl

What you refer as Global Security Setting panel is old info. UI and wording is changed as you can see in the image:

Ok, I found it, I had to scroll down but I still have the same msg

What is wrong? Browsing with FF I do not have this issue!!

You can change security setting from control panel->Flash Player. Please let me know if you can't find it.

thanks,

If you want to do same thing with Global Security Settings panel , it's in Advanced->Developer tool. I am not sure why you need to set this to access hotmail site though. Are you sure that it is your solution for your problem?

thanks,

Hitomi
