Should I delete my Adobe flash player history if YouTube is acting up with videos? Where do you delete history?

Adobe’s files can be removed by following the instructions here:

    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html#main_2__Disable_ActiveX_Filtering__if_you_are_using_Internet_Explorer_9_

If Youtube is acting up, I doubt if removing Youtube’s history will fix the problem.  Go to this site to remove Youtube’s history.  You may have to log in:

    http://www.youtube.com/feed/history

If those two options don’t work look at the link here:

What do you click on after you say to delete all history in Adobe flash? There are a couple options to check. I did delete my Youtube history. SOmetimes the video will get stuck or freeze up for a few seconds then pick back up playing in Youtube.

Get into Control Panel, then click on Adobe.  Then click the “advanced” tab.  Click “delete all.”  Make sure the “delete all site data and settings” box is checked.  Then click the “delete data” button at the bottom of the screen.  This will remove most files.  The remaining files can be removed by following the instructions on the first link I mentioned in my previous posting.  Go to item 6 and follow the instructions.  Also follow the instructions under item 7.

If that doesn’t work try this.  Right click the video.  Then click “copy video URL.”  Then go to this site: http://www.proxfree.com/youtube-proxy.php   Right click your mouse and then click “Paste”  while your mouse is over the white box that is before PROXFREE.  Then click “PROXFREE.”  See if the video plays OK. This will help determine whether the problem is with Adobe or with Youtube or your internet service provider.
