Adobe Flash Player in Firefox with Windows 10

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I have been unable to view any videos in facebook.  I am using the latest version of Firefox and have the latest version of Flash Player.  Shockwave is active.  Any page I go to has a banner at the top asking if I want to reload the page or submit a crash report for Adobe Flash Player.  In the box containing the video there is a message that Flash Player has crashed and do I want to send a report.

When uninstalling Firefox it doesn't actually delete the user data unless you specifically request it to do so.  I don't know if the 32-bit bookmarks/passwords directory would be accessed by the 64-bit Firefox.  You can also try saving the bookmarks folder from the 32-bit profile and then adding that to the 64-bit Firefox profile.  Not sure about the passwords.  This is all assumption.  I would recommend posting to the Firefox Support Forum | Mozilla Support

    Hi,

Are you using the 32 or 64-bit version of Firefox?  32-bit version of Firefox is known to be unstable on 64-bit operating system (which you most likely have). Go to Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla  to download the 64-bit version of Firefox.  You'll need to uninstall the 32-bit version before installing the 64-bit version, else it'll just be treated as a re-install, or upgrade, of the 32-bit version.

If you downloaded Firefox from the main Firefox page it's the 32-bit version.  The 64-bit version is only available at Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla .  The information in your post indicates the OS is 64-bit, not necessarily that Firefox is the 64-bit version.  To check, go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features.  Look for the Firefox entry.  If it's 32-bit it'll be similar to "Mozilla Firefox 48.0.1 (x86 en-US)".  If it's 64-bit it'll be "Mozilla Firefox 48.0.1 (x64 en-US)"

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Does this only impact videos on Facebook or is it any video?

If you have been unable to view videos after upgrading to Windows 10, it's possible the upgrade corrupted Firefox or something.  You may want to try re-installing Firefox (preferably the 64-bit version since your OS is 64-bit).
