Adobe Flash Player Installer repeatedly giving a "Download Timeout" error

  • Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.135

  • Multiple attempts to download and install on Dec 15 and Dec 16, 2012

  • Windows 7 Version 6.1

  • Firefox 17.0.1

The installers hangs at 0% for about 10 secs, jumps to 7% and hangs there for 5 to 10 seconds, then jumps to 47% and gives the time out error.

I unistalled all previous versions of Flash Player.

I was able to install for IE 9 but need the other version to run LeapFrog Connect.

Thank you for your assistance.
