my adobe flash player is missing on my Windows 10 laptop - I may have deleted it - is there any way to get it back?  or do I have to pay to have it installed again?  I hardly use my home computer and never noticed it gone till now.

Are you referring to the embedded Flash Player ActiveX Control for IE and Edge?  If so, there isn't a separate installer available for it since Microsoft embeds the Control in the browsers and considers a browser component and the files are locked, thus the Flash Player uninstaller does not remove it.

If you manually deleted it by force (e.g. unlocking the files to delete it), you may be able to restore it by installing an update for IE/Edge, which include the Flash Player ActiveX Control component.

If that doesn't work, you can try running System File Checker,

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833, to repair the system.  Be sure to create a back-up of your system before performing this step.

If none of the above work, please contact Microsoft for assistance.
