After updating of Windows 10 to the Version 1607 the Flash Player and Firefox don't  work with AVstream drivers,  Another browsers (Chrome, IE and  MS Edge) work well.

My environment:

  1. MS Windows 10 x64 Version 1607 Build 14393.82
  2. Mozilla Firefox 48.0.2
  3. Adobe Flash Player 22.0.0.209

For testing I created the driver AVStream from the Windows 10 Driver Kit  samples:

GitHub - Microsoft/Windows-driver-samples: This repo contains driver samples prepared for use with Microsoft Visual Stud…

How to reproduce that error:

  1. Set the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on OS
  2. Set the last Firefox an Flash Plaer
  3. Download the build  AVStream driver pack - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/51370580/avshws.zip
  4. Unzip that pack and install the driver on PC by Device Manager
  5. Restart OC
  6. Load Firefox
  7. Load my test page with Flash Player - Webcam test Adobe Flash Player | Victor Kulichkin's personal website
  8. In Settings/Camera of Flash select  "avshws Source"
  9. After start the Flash shows us a black square.

What must see there (the right result):

  1. Close Firefox
  2. Load MS Edge
  3. Load Webcam test Adobe Flash Player | Victor Kulichkin's personal website
  4. In Settings/Camera of Flash select  "avshws Source"
  5. After run we see there:

Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Firefox?  If you're using the 32-bit version, please try the 64-bit version.  64-bit version is available at Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla

I tested with any versions of Firefox: x86 and x64 and always got the same result - a black square.

Before the Anniversary Update all worked well.

I believe the problem is in a Flash Player - incompatibility of  Flash and the new Windows service: Frame Server
