I am having a problem with downloading Adobe Flash Player. I was in Nascar.com and was informed that I didnt have Flash Player, so I go Adobe.com , and go to downloads, and pressed Get Flash Player, so I clicked on it; then I got a message saying its already downloaded, but its not in my Programs. What is the problem? Please Help!!!!

That is the wrong thing .. its the installer for the player control .. not
    the standalone player.

It helps if you supply correct information.

    Look in

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

There should be an ocx (or two) in there for Flash Player ... do you see it?
what is in that folder on your PC (assuming you have a PC running windows xp
    or similar)

It may depend on how it is installed .. or it may have changed for Flash
    Player 9 vs earlier players.

That's correct .. its an activex control (or firefox/netscape plug in) ..
those things never appear in your programs area (ie not in program files
,and not in the installed programs in control panel).
