Adobe flash player problem

Hi, I feel like banging my head to the wall because of flash player.  When flash player is installed, my laptop works in slow motion and when I uninstall it my laptop speed is ok but then if I am playing a game or something a message from Adobe covers the page and tell me to install the flash player without giving me a chance to say no thank you, as a result I have to leave that page.  Please help.
