adobe flash player problems

hi  i am using windows vista ie

7 ,i recently up

graded to adobe flash p

layer 10 and now i am unable to see video

or play games i uninstalled , reinstalled still not working this is driving me nut pls help

    Hi, make sure you have the Shockwave Flash Object in your manage add ons Enabled.

    Then using IE, go to this test site:

    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

    Check this first and let me know.

    hi my shockwave player is enabled ,   wonder if it might be my registry how to  i checked that ? this is so frustrating been at this for 3 days now

    Hi, now you said Shockwave Player, did you mean the add on Shockwave Flash Object? The latter one is what I wanted you to check.

    No, I would not be concerned about the Registry. There are other things to consider that arent' that risky. Using IE, go to Tools, click on Internet Options and under the Security Tab, make sure it is set to Medium for the Internet Zone.

    Also, do you have any adblock or any pop up blocker programs installed?

    What Anti-Virus program do you have?
