Adobe Flash Player question

Im trying to install the newest version of Adobe Flash.  I temporarily disabled the security and ran install.  Adobe is telling me to close the internet so installation can be completed.  I don't have the internet open.  If I hit "retry" the same massage keeps coming up.  What do I do to complete the installation?
