adobe flash player-reset password

I followed instructions for adobe flash player…i forgot password and reset it…it still wont accept my new password. it wont let me finish downloading. mac wants to charge me for help.

Hello,


The password being requested is your computer's admin password.  Is that the password you attempted to use (some users try to use their AdobeID password).

I can get into the Adobe.com but cannot ge4t into adobe flash player for an update.  It will not accept my password.
