I've down loaded adobe flash player and it doesn't work. I've tryed uninstall and reinstalling it and still can't get it to work. Every time I try to view a video it say I need adobe flash player. The operation system on my computer is Vista 32 bit operating system. I'm also running internet explorer 8. What do I need to do to fix this problem.

    Correct answer

You can say prayer answers all. I went back and enable the shockwave flash object and that did the trick. Adobe Flash player is up and running.

    Thank you for your help.

God bless you and Merry Christmas

Hi amedd, thanks for starting your thread. Let's check something first. Using IE, go up to Tools and click on Manage addons.

When that opens, look for the word "Show". It will be in very light text. Then look in "All addons" and "Run without Permission"

You will be looking for Shockwave Flash Object and let me know if it is Installed and Enabled and what version number it is.

    Thanks,

Hi amedd, Say a prayer and hope this is your only problem

Go back and Enable that Shockwave Flash Object and then see if Flash Player is working.
