Adobe Flash Player won't install

I downloaded the latest flash player from adobe's website, 10.3.183.7, for Windows 7 - Firefox, then double clicked on the .exe file, but nothing happens except my mouse cursor having that loading icon for around half a minute, the usual installer does not pop up? This is what I already did:

- Used Adobe uninstaller to uninstall previous version

- Right click .exe -> run as administrator

Does anyone know what's going on? =/

The installers are outdated in that thread as the thread was made Aug 10.

I found an installer on google search that's the most up to date version.

These links always point to the latest installer versions; currently 10.3.183.7

Yeah, those bigger installers worked. How come the smaller ones didn't?

I have no idea what these other installers are; I never use the standard download site with the download manager.

Yeah, I am having this problem too with yesterday's releases with these three files in my updated 64-bit W7 HPE machine:

    http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/install_flashplayer10ax_aih.exe
    http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih.exe
    http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/install_flashplayer10_chrd_aih.exe

    I got them from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer ...

I have .5 already installed and never had this problem before. Also, I noticed the installer file gets deleted too.
