Adobe Flash Standalone Uninstaller does not properly remove 10.1.82.76

Why does the Adobe provided Flash Standalone Uninstaller "uninstall_flash_player.exe, dated 2010-08-16, versioned 10.1.82.76, the same date as Adobe Flash Player ActiveX/Plugin 10.1.82.76, not remove this version properly of the Adobe Flash Player ActiveX/Plugin then?

One must still run the uninstall via MSIEXEC /X [whichever].msi

What is being left behind is at least the two GUIDS in the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
