Adobe Flash update

Hello,

After Apple did their latest update, ADOBE products are not usable.  Adobe Flash keeps asking me to update - I do it then I get an idiot box saying I've already updated. How do I fix this short of just deleting ALL of my ADOBE products??

Thank you

LueyD

All major browser disable/block Flash by default.  You most likely just need to enable/allow it for the site.

Note that the behaviour varies by browser.  For example, Chrome deletes the enable/allow preferences when the browser is closed, forcing the user to enable/allow again the next time they launch the browser.  I think Safari behaves similarly.

See https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html for links to enable Flash in the various browsers.

Safari likes to disable Flash Player with every update now, so Maria's advice is spot-on there.

For completeness, if you're having problems with Adobe Creative Cloud, or other paid Adobe products in addition to the Flash Player issue that you reported here, you can always reach out to our tech support folks for help.

Are you sure it's Flash telling you to update? Not a malware attack? If you are sure it's the Adobe prompt, please post a screen shot and tell us the browser(s) you use.
