Adobe Flash Wanting to Reinstall

I'm using the most up todate Adobe Flash version. However, after install when I visit a site, it wants to reinstall over and over again. It has gotten to the point where I've ended up blocking the request even though specific websites are recommending it. I'm running Vista and using IE. Has anyone ran across a cure for this? Thanks.

    How does that manifest itself; can you give me a screenshot of that?

    Thanks Pat. I'm using 10.1. I did uninstall the player from my computer, rebooted, ran the Adobe Uninstaller and then ran the debug install. Seems to be okay now. Hopefully that took care of it. Have a good New Years.
