Adobe Flashplayer 11 ActiveX error 1603

Hi Guys,

I've been having lots of issue deploying variants of Flash Player 11 ActiveX via Symantec Altiris NS. I get error 1603 and 1722. OS is Windows 7 SP1 (x64)

Do you encounter any issues if you deploy by hand?  This is the first time I've seen the installer fail with the FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe, can you tell if this service is currently running when the installer is launched?

Most of the time it installs successfully when installing it manually. But, I have noticed error 1722 is coming a lot more now. The FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe still resides in the c:\windows\syswow64\macromed\flash directory after running uninstall_flash_player.exe.

Can you verify that you have the latest uninstaller?  If you're using an older version, it won't know about the service exe.
