Same thing - Using Win XP Internet Explorer 7 - Can not get Flash to operate. Usually get message to install Flash. Latest version installed as well active X. Everything works just fine in Netscape.

Any clues out there - would be much appreciated

I am having a similar problem, which started about two weeks ago when Flash Player popped up a message saying an update was available, which I proceeded to install. After that, on both IE7 and FF, websites that have Flash only give me the "need to update" message. Also, I use Windows Media Player to listen to XM Radio, but cannot access my interface because of the same problem, although i can still listen to xm.

I sent tech support an email (through their support site) last week, but have not heard back yet, nor have I received an acknowledgement that they even received my message. :o/
