Adobe Reader X (10.1.4) issue [Flash Player, actually]

I just updated to Adobe Reader X (10.1.4).  Since the update it takes at least 2 minutes (no exaggeration) to load a webpage.  Even navigating from page to page within this website takes 2 minutes to load ... each time I change pages.

I have Windows Vista.

I updated to Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX shortly before updating Adobe Reader by the internet worked fine after that update.

I'd like to remove the Adobe Reader X update, revert to an earlier version or repair the current one.

You were right Claudio.  I used the tool you suggested and removed Reader from my computer.  That didn't fix the problem.  So, I decided to go to the Microsoft site.  There I found 2 possible explainations for my problem.  The first was an outdated video card which did not apply to me. The second was add-ons.  It turned out that Shockwave (Adobe Flash Player 11 Axtive X) was the culprit.  I disabled it and my internet works perfectly.  I mentioned before that the internet worked well after I installed it (shockwave).  But now that I think about it, although the browser was open, I didn't actually use it before updating Reader.

Thanks for your assistance.

Although I doubt thar your slow downloads are in any way related with Reader, you can try using this tool to remove all traces of previous version(s) of Reader:

You can use the Flash Player uninstaller to remove it: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

If you want to reinstall an earlier version, you can get it from the Flash Player Archive: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
