Hi Team,

As a concern,we want to enquire that since our company has its own product which uses Flash technology sdk 4.5 but its been known that adobe will not support flash player sdk 4.5 in sometime
So if we save and continue to use an older version of browser(with autoupdate off),will adobe  allow  us to continue usage of Adobe Flash Player sdk 4.5 after 2020?
Please confirm the same or any other workaround so that the product having adobe flash player sdk 4.5 can be used smoothly within the browser after 2020 as well.
Thanks

All major browsers will block Flash Player by the end of 2020. Adobe cannot change or delay this, they are not the browser makers. After this date, Flash will probably be removed (no downloads) by Adobe so it is unavailable for all purposes. Adobe recommend you convert to another technology and have been recommending this for several years.

We still have one last query. We have some inhouse user systems that currently accesses our flash player based application pages using different browsers. These user systems are locked for updates and will never be updated(both OS and browser) in future. Do you think the existing flash player (and 2020 browser versions) will stop working in 2021 even with the locked browser and OS on these user systems? Specifically asking will there be a scheduled coded kill switch in flash preventing running of flash pages in 2021?

Adobe have not said and will not be drawn, in my experience, into hinting. Also, you should consider whether the browsers themselves may have a kill switch for Flash, not just Flash itself.
