Question

Adobe Techs

Why aren't there any Adobe techs willing to check out the GetPlusPlus error?  If they don't know, they could at least lie to us and tell us they're working on it.  Rather, they let us sit with screwed up computers that their product messed up.  Any techs willing to answer?

This is a peer-to-peer forum.  We do not monitor this forum as an official support channel, though we do try to spend time here when we can.

If you need support, open a support web case:

    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer

That said, you might see that we are involved in a few other download manager threads. However, it is difficult to track forum activity (and to remember what thread is which) so if you need official help absolutely open a support web case.

I think that woudl be most helpful. As I stated in another post, if there can be some uninstall tool created for the adobe download manager, I think that might help as in my case I think the get_plus error is dio to a botched uninstall of download manager where I deleted the folder NOS from program files rather than the proper add/remove program function

Tami- Did you remove the adobe downloader manager in the same way I did? I'm thinking there may be many of us who have done so. But this will seem to keep us from downloading( because the error) any future versions of flash player. My guess is that adobe would want us to be able to access downloads of flash player going forward

I haven't done anything except install and uninstall the adobe flash player several times.  I downloaded the adobe uninstaller and used it to uninstall the flashplayer.  Using their uninstaller still doesn't remove the get plusplus.  I haven't gone into any separate files to remove anything.  Not that computer savvy.

I forgot to add that I don't use Adobe's download manager.  I use EA's download manager.
