Adobe Uninstaller not removing Flash Player

I used Flash Player uninstaller for Mac 10.6.8

restart, go to folders to delete any plugins, only find cache, so delete it.

Go to Flash Status page and it says I still have 11.2.202.228 installed.

Run uninstaller again, same thing.

I see "About HTML5"

Ok, then this isn't related to Flash.  You appear to be having a problem with YouTube's HTML5 player and I'd recommend posting over on YouTube's forums.

Could you pls do the following in the same order?

Download the appropriate uninstaller from the following page: Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

  1. Close all browser windows, mount and run the uninstaller
  2. Restart OS X
  3. Delete all remaining files and folders locating in the following folders:
    • \Library\Internet Plug-Ins\Flash Player.plugin
    • \Library\Internet Plug-Ins\flashplayer.xpt
    • ~\Library\Preferences\Macromedia\Flash Player\
    • ~\Library\Caches\Adobe\Flash Player\

Could you check the Internet plug-ins folder in your user folder (~\Library\Internet Plug-Ins\) to see if there's a copy of Flash Player there?  Also, what browser are you using?  If it's Chrome, then Flash Player is built in and you'll need to do different steps to disable the plugin.
