Adobe Update installation question

I have always had Adobe let me know when an update is needed, rather than letting them install automatically.  From reading the information, I understand that there could be some urgent updates needed that it might be better to let it install automatically.  But I do NOT want McAfee installed on my computer and deselect that option every time that Adobe advised me it is time for an update.  If I say that it can install automatically, will it install McAfee as well?  Thanks for any help you can give.

No, it will not install any third party offers as we cannot automatically install any third party offers without the users consent.  Third party offers (e.g. McAfee) are only available on get.adobe.com/flashplayer where the user can decide whether or not they want to install the offers.

The option offers are only available on the Flash Player download page.  If you opt into automatic updates (recommended) you only get Flash Player and it usually installs within 24 hours of a release, as long as your computer has internet connection.

Maybe I'm dense, but I still don't understand whether it will also try to download McAfee as well? Just spell it out for me?!
