Hello,

Is it possible for Adobe to update their website do that there will be more information for Windows 10 and 64 bit browsers. Microsoft tech. support agents claim that Internet Explorer 11 is a 64 bit browser -by default for a 64 bit OS- rather than 32 bit. Which is contrary to what your website claims that it is 32 bit.

I am actually looking for a 64 bit Flash Player as well as a 64 bit Shockwave.

Thanks

It might be helpful to back up and describe the actual problem that you were trying to solve before arriving at your initial diagnosis.

    Hi,

What information, specifically, are you looking for when you state "Is it possible for Adobe to update their website do that there will be more information for Windows 10 and 64 bit browsers."?

Flash Player supports both 32- and 64-bit operating systems and browsers.  As the OP stated, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE and Edge browsers and there isn't a separate Flash Player installer for IE/Edge on Windows 10.  You can verify this by launching the browser and viewing Flash content then launching Task Manager.  64-bit applications just display the application name while 32-bit applications display the application followed by (32-bit).  Since Flash Player is 64-bit it won't display (32-bit) next to it.

For information on Shockwave Player see Install Shockwave Player on 64-bit Windows systems . Note that Flash Player and Shockwave Player are different software.

    Hi,

On Windows 10, Flash Player for IE and Edge are provided by Microsoft embedded in the browser itself. You cannot install/uninstall Flash Player for these browsers on Windows 10. If you are unable to use Flash Player on IE11 on Windows 10 Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge) link might help.

    Thanks!
