After downloading adobe flashplayer latest version, my games still won't open...why

After downloading adobe flashplayer's latest version as required by Pogo, my games still won't open.  I know that it was installed on my computer. I just had an apple tech go thru the installition with me. Does anyone know why this is happening and how can I fix it?
