All games stuttering and freezing. Playback of videos the same. Also, can't change update settings.

I have had this problem off and on for weeks.

I am using Windows 10, and Google Chrome, although the problem is the same with Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Flash is updated to current version: 26.0.0.151

All games stutter and freeze, and the same happens when watching TV or videos.

Also, I have tried numerous times to change my update settings to 'update Flash automatically', but it always reverts back to 'Change Update Settings' and 'Check Now'.

Please advise.
