"All NetConnection attempts failed" error

So I'm trying to view an very old video on the RTE Player website (the one I'm trying to view from 2012) which still uses Flash, and when I press "play" it comes up with a "All NetConnection attempts failed" error.

 

Is there any way to fix this? I'm using Chrome so I'm scared the Flash-related messages are a side-effect of this

It's much more likely that the video streaming server they were running is gone.  You'd need to reach out to the content provider to see if maybe they converted it to HTML5 video or something.
