Not sure what happened, but now I can't see flash.  No error screen, just a black square where my video used to be.  I can hear it fine.  Important note:   All is well in Chrome.  I can see and hear everything fine there, but my default browser is IE9.  It always worked just fine, but all of a sudden... nada... zip.   I've googled to kingdom come and back and can't find anything that would explain.  I've uninstalled and re-installed.  I'm using windows 7.  Please help.

It could be an incompatibility with your graphics driver; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

Hi Pat,  I clicked the "wasn't helpful" button, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the help!  It just didn't solve my problem.  I did update my graphics driver (AMD).  I wasn't sure it would help, because I thought that if it HTML5 works with Chrome, then how can it be my driver?  Anyway, still no love for IE9.  So you know, it used to work just fine up until recently.  In fact, I did a full restore on my machine and it worked again, but I had to revert to an earlier disk image because some of my stuff didn't make the backup.  That's what brought me back to this state.  Is there anything I can provide that might help identify this?  Much thanks for your time and help!
