Android FP-10.1 can't detect and publish cameras

Hi,

I am trying to open Adobe Connect meeting in Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android-2.2) and I could open the meeting in browser. But when I tried to publish the camera then flash player couldn’t detect any camera on the device but the galxaxy tab has already two inbuilt cameras installed (front and back cameras). The Connect meeting client is able to subscribe and play the camera shared by other users.

I’ve installed following version of flash player on Android-2.2:

Player version: AND 10,1,92,8

Debug Player: No

Operating System: Linux 2.6.32.9

Video Capable: Yes

Audio Capable: Yes

Local File I/O Enabled: Yes

Is this a known issue that flash player can’t detect/publish camera on Android-2.2, or my flash player is outdated?  Could you please provide me appropriate suggestion, I’m also ready to install a developer version of flash player to publish my camera.

Thanks,

Rakesh

Yes, this is a known issue.  Look at this knowledgebase article about 7/8 of the way down, under "Known Issues and Limitations: Media"
