Anyone know why the latest Flash version would be crashing in the latest Firefox on Windows?

I've got a Windows 8.1, 64-bit OS, am running the latest Firefox, and just updated Flash the other day. Literally, a few days ago. It's already crashing, made me restart my computer even. ( -_- ) Anyone know why this would be doing this? (And don't say it's because it doesn't have the companion Shockwave Player, I know.)
