What is your operating system and browser?

Try downloading the uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and save it to disk.

Next download the appropriate installer(s) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html and save it to disk.

Close all browser windows and any messengers running, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer(s).

thank you for your help. It is Windows 7, 64 bit and internet explorer. I know to open the 32 bit explorer. I was able to download the uninstaller to a disc but not able to run it, I am not very knowlegeable in computers. I was not able to download the installer (is that the actual adobe flash player 10.2?) and could not save it to disc.

Can you be more specific how you were not able to run the uninstaller, and how you were not able to save the installer to disk?  Did you get any error messages, or what exactly happened?

Also, when I say to disk, I mean somewhere like your Desktop, where you can easily find and run it.  And later delete it once Flash Player is successfully installed.

Regarding the installer download, now that I know that you use Internet Explorer, use this download link http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

To run it (after the uninstaller), just double-click on it.
