Basic Copy/Paste in flash

i am somewhat of a newbie...

I have a flash application. When I right click to copy. I don't get the expected menu

When I right click to paste I don;t get the expected menu. 

I also have a spelling checker running and when I right click to select the correct word, I don't get the expected menu.

How can I fix these actions so that I can get the intrinsically expected menus/actions?
