Blue screen of death with windows seven

Ok to begin, I understand that Im using a release candidate operating system but I would appreciate any help.

When I'm watching a slow I get a blue screen of death. With the fallowing error details:

Problem signature:

  Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

  OS Version: 6.1.7100.2.0.0.256.1

  Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:

  BCP1: 00000000

I did not have this trouble when I was using windows Vista.

My pc specs are:

9600 Phenom BE

9600 Nvidia GT

Gigabyte motherboard

    I'm sorry I am not sure why it is doing that. Adobe will probably release a patch once windows seven comes out on the market. I read the info you wrote and it said version 6.1.7400 if it is windows 7 shouldn't it be version 7? Or did they start at windows 0.0 which would make sense if you were doing things the way you write code.

    Windows 7 really is version 6.1 (Vista was 6.0).

    Same as Windows XP was version 5.1 (Windows 2000 was 5.0).

    sounds more like a windows issue. i'd search for that error string on a msft support forum. (then again, I'm still coming to grips with vista and won't be going near win7 for a loong time) Tom
