    Hi,

Flash Player is a browser plugin and works anywhere.  What behaviour, specifically are you observing?  In addition, please provide the operating system and browser (including version).

Maria,  I am using windows 10 with 64 bit, my browser is Chrome, I don't know what version but I am guessing that it is the most up to date one.  My problem is  my US tv provider Brighthouse requires Adobe Flash player to be able to stream live tv  online while away from home.  They have just switched from silverlight to Adobe.  When I click on live tv a message appears saying to download Adobe Flash Player.  I already  had it on my computer but I downloaded it anyway.  Everytime I clicked on live tv it kept telling me to download flash player again.  Somewhere on the Adobe website I  read that the issue could be Country related.

    Hi,

Google embeds Flash Player in Chrome and there is nothing else to install. As of Windows 8, Microsoft also embeds Flash Player in IE and Edge browser (Windows 10), and as with Chrome, there is nothing else to install.  You can verify Flash Player is installed by launching the browser, navigating to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and clicking the Check Now button.  The widget will display your OS, browser, and installed Flash Player version.  This indicates that Flash Player is functioning correctly.  If it doesn't display, Flash Player may be disabled, or ActiveX Filtering enabled (in IE).  This page contains links to other troubleshooting pages to fix these issues if this is the case.

I've attempted to find Flash Player support on the Bright House Networks site, but did not find it.  The only thing I found was operating system (OS) and browser support, https://brighthouse.com/my-services/my-services/app-center/bright-house-tv-app.html‌.  Based on this page, your OS and browser should work.  I also found this support page, http://support.brighthouse.com/Article/Watch-BHTV-On-Computer-10887/‌ but I am unable to view the content since Bright House is not available in my area and I do not know it's coverage area to enter a zip code to see what the page says.  This page http://support.brighthouse.com/Article/Bhtv-Channels-7738 talks about what channels are available to you when in your home area and away, but I don't think this is the culprit as to why you're being prompted to install Flash Player.

What is the name of the Adobe Flash Player file that is being downloaded?

If you haven't done so yet, I recommend contacting Bright House Networks for assistance.
