Question
C-media audio problems
I've been having problems with flash games and animations.
Basically the problem used to be that each time a flash movie/game
would try to play a sound, it would freeze for a second then
continue (playing the sound properly). This would happen almost
every time a sound was played and this was really irritating. I
tried updating my sound drivers to the most recent, and this has
just altered the problem. Now the movie/game freezes for a second
after each sound.
My sound device is (I think) C-Media CM6501. It's a built in sound card on an Asus M2N-E SLI motherboard and I'm running Windows Vista. However before this PC I had an Acer laptop with a C-Media sound card and I was having exactly the same problem. I can't remember the specific details but it was running Windows XP.
Anyone know what the problem is?
