(C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll:5) error

When I try to install the newest update 10.3.????? it tells me this--The Installation encountered errors: A required file (C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll:5) could not be written due to insufficient permissions.

Can someone please help me?

p.s. I am the admin of the laptop.

    I suggest you try the following

    • download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);
    • download the executable installer(s) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html (save to disk);
    • close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller;
    • restart Windows;
    • using Windows Explorer go to C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
    • delete any remaining files in this folder;
    • now run the downloaded installer(s).
