I have windows XP, and have been trying to download flash player numerous times, but it just wont download. I get the message that " download failed ". I get the download, press run, it initialises then starts to download, but every time it stops and I get the previous message. I have Internet explorer 8. Have tried taking off all security and downloading flash, but just does the same. Please help as I cant get on youtube till I have updated flash. I tried downloading straight from adobe, this also started downloading then stopped and the following message came up, " The ActiveX control for Flash Player could not be registered."
